A fun idea for a Zoo party invitation would be to say something like “We are going WILD for _____ Birthday” or ” You are invited to a WILD party for_____” You would print these on very colorful paper, zebra or cheetah prints. You can personalize it with stickers and ribbon.

Have your own backyard Safari. These colorful Zoology Party supplies will be the added splash of color you will need. You could have your very own Crocodile Wrestling Contest. Buy a Crocodile Pool Float, have each guest pose for a picture with the fierce beast. This makes a great party favor everyone can take home, or have them printed later to send out with your Thank You Notes. Everyone will remember the special day.

Cheetah printed invites will be great and fun to make! Get cheetah or even zebra printed paper at your local craft store. Then get a white or brown card stock to lay over it making it a little smaller than the printed part. Use words like ” For a roaring good time, please come to ______ birthday party” and underneath that put the details of the party. You could also say ” calling all wild animals.. you are invited to __________ birthday party!”. You could get a paw print stamp at your craft store and using black ink stamp the white part with the paw print.

If there is a zoo in your local area, contact them to see if there is a designated area in which you can host your child’s birthday party. If there is not a zoo in your area, then make one at home!
As guests arrive at the party hand them each a white paper plate. Set up an area with crayons, markers, etc. where they can decorate the paper plate to look just like the face of their favorite zoo animal. Have adults help out by punching holes on either side of the paper plates and attaching a string from one hole to the other, creating a mask for each child to wear. Make sure you get lots of pictures of all the little animals in the group!

An awesome activity for a Zoology party would be to write down several animal names and put them in a hat.
Each child, without peeking, picks one out. They then have to make the sound that the animal makes. You can also use bird names as well. If they don’t know what sound it makes, look it up on the internet and play it for everyone. It will be a fun and educational activity for your Zoology party.
