I was wondering the other day if kids today knew who Tweety Bird was and whether Tweety Party Supplies were relevant anymore. So I went to our 4 year old to find out. To my surprise she not only knew who Tweety was she seemed to very excited when I told her that Tweety party supplies were available for kids birthdays and wanted to know if she thought that was a good idea or not.
So, if you want to judge the relevance of a birthday theme for kids on the advice of a 4 year old, then Tweety birthday party supplies are not only relevant but very desirable.

We saw some Tweety Personal Checks the other day. As we showed the checks to our kids they immediately recognized Tweety.
Tweety is one of those characters that apparently never goes out of style and remains popular with kids, especially those 10 and under. Tweety birthday party supplies and themes are lively and fun to consider as you finalize your party plans.

If you have a Tweety Bird lover in your house you have to have a Tweety party. These Tweety party supplies are too cute to pass up. Who couldn’t love that cute little bird. Make sure you order the Tweety T-shirt for the Birthday Girl.
I heard about a great game to play at the Tweety party.
It’s called Tweety Handoff. In this game, Sylvester has again captured poor Tweety. However, Grandma is on her way home and Sylvester can’t be caught with her favorite bird in her paws, now can he? Gather your guests in a circle. All you’ll need for this game is a stuffed Tweety figure. Play some fun, flighty music while the guests toss Tweety back and forth. When you stop the music, the “Sylvester” left holding Tweety is caught by Grandma and sent out of the game. Restart the music and repeat until you have a winner.

Tweety bird was created in 1942! Wow and he (yes HE ) is still around today. Some think Tweety is a girl but he was created as a male. A fun game to play at your Tweety party would be to play tag. Have someone be Sylvester and eveyone else be “Tweety” and see if Sylvester can catch them! Once a tweety is caught he sits down and cheers for the other “Tweetys” the last one to get caught by that Puddy Cat - gets the PRIZE! This could be anything such as candy or a yellow cupcake.

If you’re having a Tweety party, consider letting your guests make their own yellow bird to take home!
This craft works best with older children. Purchase some standard light bulbs. Let each child paint the bulb bright yellow. Supply some googily eyes, a marker to draw a beak, and a few feathers to be glued on as arms. Make sure the kids know to be very careful since the lightbulbs are fragile.

Another fun craft to make would be your very own Tweety Bird T-shirts and hats. Prior to the party purchase solid yellow t-thirts and craft paint that will work on fabric. Let each person paint their own Tweety face onto their t-shirt. Before you start painting make sure you put something between the front and back of the shirt so paint does not seep through. To make it easier print out a picture of Tweety and slip it in the middle of the shirt and let guests trace Tweety’s face.
You can also make Tweety hats - hot glue googily eyes onto the hats and paint his face on with fabric paint. Make sure you allow plenty of time for paint to dry.
