Do you have a young aspiring Prima Ballerina in your house Then these Prima Ballerina Party supplies would be awesome for her next birthday party. Make sure when you invite your guests to remind them to wear their leotards, tights and ballet slippers.
When each guest arrive, give them their own tutu. They can wear durning the party and then take it home as a party favor. It’s easy to make tutus. Cut lengths of lace, elastic, or wide ribbon that will be long enought to tie around the guest waist. Sew layers of gathered pastel netting or tuell to the lace to form a tutu, if there is excess lace just tie it in a bow in the back.

Every little girl at one time or another wants to take Ballerina lessons! It is so delicate and well girly! Hire a real ballerina dancer for your party, make sure on all the invitations to tell all the girls to wear their tutu’s and leotards. Have the instructor show the girls the basic ballerina moves. Next, put on Swan Lake or Nutcracker music and have the girls use all the new moves they have learned. Each girl can take turns being the leader until all have had a turn.

I thought of this fun thing to do at a Ballerina party. Go to the internet and look up a Ballerina dance or Ballerina moves. Once all the little ballerina’s arrive at the party. Teach them the dance you learned. You may get a teenager to help you with so you can prepare for other activities at the party. Be sure and tell all the parents to have their child dressed in leotard and tutu’s!

A fun twist for a Prima Ballerina activity is Balloon Dancing. Attach inflated ballons to long curling ribbon to the arms, leg or backs of each guest. Turn on some music and have everyone start dancing. When everyone starts dancing, tell everyone to protect their balloons because the object is to try and pop all the other dancers balloons.

If you’re having a Prima Ballerina birthday party then you’ll definitely want to purchase the Prima Ballerina party supplies. This party theme is especially great for younger girls who have just started taking ballet lessons - they will love showing off their new moves and tutus! Tell each girl to come dressed in her favorite ballerina outfit. Make sure you have a camera handy, you’ll want to take lots of snapshots of these tiny ballerinas!
To get ready for the party, make sure you set the mood with lots of girly decorations. Anything in pastel pinks or purples will be perfect! Silver decorations will also compliment your theme. Set aside a space in the middle of the room for the girls to play games and dance. Line the pace around with pink, purple, or silver/gray pillows to sit on (or land on if their dance skills are a little rusty). You can start by playing “Ballerina Says” - played just like “Simon Says,” but with ballet moves.
For a special treat, as the guests arrive help them get ready for the stage - let them put on lip gloss and glitter, and pull their hair up into the famous ballerina bun. You can even let them make their own body glitter. Just mix some aloe vera and, glitter, and a drop of food coloring into a small container (an old film canister works perfectly), and they’ll have their very own glitter to take home!

Why not have a Prima Ballerina Make-up Call? All young Ballerinas enjoy preparing for a preformance. Some as much as the preformance. Buy make up from you local discount store and let the Prima Ballerinas aplly it to each other.

You can turn your next birthday party into a recital/talent show for your little Prima Ballerina and all her friends. When you send out invitations let everyone know that there will be a show that anyone can participate in, and that parents are welcome to stay and watch. Set up your party space like a stage - line up the chairs across one sie of the room, and set a CD player to the side. When the girls arrive let them decide what song they want to dance to, and let them get into groups to perform. Make sure you have your video camera out - you’ll want to capture every moment!

Another game to play is Magic Star Relay. Have guest leap form star to star. Cut out four, 12 to 15 inche stars from cardboard and paint them gold. Line up the guests in two lines and giv ethe first guest in each line 2 stars. The stars become the only thing they can step on as they cross from the line to a chair and back again. The first dance places a star ont he gournd and steps on it. She will then place the second star on the ground and step on it. She then picks up the first star and repeats the actions. The first team that does the the fastest wins.

Why not arrage for a local teacher of family friend to come give a dance demonstration and teach the Prima Ballerina guest the five positions in ballet. It doesn’t need to be long or complicated to entertain your guest. Make sure you let the teacher know the ages of the guest so they can plan age- appropriate activities.

For your Prima Ballerina party have a Grand Performance. Music and movement go hand in hand for young Prima Ballerinas. Be sure to have The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, or other music playing in the background. Ask the girls to remove their shoes and put on their tutus and have them start dancing. Have the birthday girl start as the leader. While the other copy her movements. Give each child a chance to be the leader and continue until all the Prima Ballerinas have a chance to be leader.
