5 Tips and Reviews to “Magic” Party Supplies

    Magic Birthday Party

Kids just love magic. They can be mesmerized by magicians and their tricks. That’s why having a Magic Birthday party makes so much sense.

If you have decided to work around a Magic theme for your party we strongly suggest that you look for a local magician to entertain at your party. They are relatively easy to find either on the internet or through your local yellow pages.

You want to find a magician used to doing youth Magic Party events because it takes a special personality to entertain the kids. They will love the actual tricks but someone skilled at working with kids will know how to converse and joke with the kids. That can make all the difference in the world as far as enjoyment level is concerned.

Magic is amazing to children and a Magic Party would have them mesmerzied! Decorate your home with black and silver steamers and balloons. Have a magican there at the party to do all kinds of fun tricks. The table centerpiece should be a top hat with a stuffed rabbit coming out of it. A fun activity would be is to make magic wands out of wooden dowels. The children can use silver and/or black duct tape to decorate the wand. It would be a great souvnier to take home from the Magic Party!

  3. Teresa Says:

A Magic Theme party sounds really fun. Why not make edible Magic Wands? All you will need is pretzel rods, chocolate and white chocolate almond bark. Dip the Pretzel Rods in the Chocolate Almond bark first covering most of it. Let those set on wax paper until the are dry. Once they are ready dip the remaining in to melted white almond bark. These make a yummy treat.

  4. Erin Says:

If you’re having a Magic party then let everyone try their hand at writing in invisible ink! You will need some lemons, paintbrushes, thick paper (cardstock) and cotton balls. It is very simple.
    1. Squeeze lemons and collect juice in a container.
    2. Use the paintbrushes to apply the juice “ink” to the paper.
    3. Let paper dry.
    4. When you’re ready to read your message, hold your paper up to the sunlight or a lightbulb.

You can also put salt on the “ink” as it is drying, then remove the excess salt when it is completely done drying. Color over the message with a wax crayon to reveal the message.

  5. Kari Says:

Kids that love magic more than likely know who Harry Houdini was. He forever changed the world with his famous magic tricks. For your magic party, have someone read about Houdini and then have a Houdini Trivia contest. Use questions like”
    1.When was he born? (03/24/1874)
    2. What was his birth name? (Erik Weisz)
    3. When did he come to the USA (1878)
    4. What trick did he start with? (card tricks)
    5. What was the object he used in his first escape trick? (hand cuffs)
    6. What did he die from? (ruptured appendix)
You can get more interesting facts about Harry Houdini at the library and internet.

Whoever wins the trivia contest, get their very own magic trick game or supplies.
