What fun a Luau party would be. If you have ever been to Hawaii you know that the second you get off the plane you are greeted by a beautiful women and she gives you a flower lay. You can decorate the house will all kinds of silk flowers and palm trees. Our if it is nice outside, the back yard would be a perfect setting.

A Birthday Luau how perfect. These Luau party supplies will help take the guess work on how to decorate.
Make sure you get sand buckets and shovels to have Sand Bucket Toss. This will be a fun and easy game to set up and play. Place the sand buckets about 5 to 6 feet from the guest. Make give the guest 3 small balls to place on their shovel. The goal is to see how many balls you can get in the bucket. The person who gets the most in wins.

If you’re having a Luau then you will definitely want to use these colorful party supplies. You’ll also want to be sure and have lots of totem poles - which your guests can make.
The idea is very simple - imagine several plastic cups. Place one cup on the table, then another cup on top of it, but upside down, where the mouths of the cups are touching. Place another cup on top of that - bottom to bottom. Continue the process with 6 cups - glue cups together as you go. You now have a totem pole.
For your party guests you can use any number of items. If it is a small party, and you have the budget then small flower pots make great totem poles. Just add some paint decorations. When you purchase the flower pots ask someone in that department what type of glue or adhesive you should use to attach the pots together. If you have a larger party try styrofoam cups. Guests might not be able to paint them as easily, but the can use a pencil to carve out their very own markings. You can also use paper cups. This activity will take up lots of time, and provides everyone with a great party favor!

A fun game to play at your own Hawaiian Luau would be beach volleyball. but play it with a Beach Ball instead of a real volleyball. You will need a net and if you have a place to play in the sand that would be great but really all you will need is a net. Divide the party into 2 separte teams by drawing numbers or a color. Start the game with everyone on their side. Then, have someone start the game and hit the ball over the net. If you miss going over the net or if miss the ball completely, then you are out and the game continues untill everyone is out. The final player from each team gets to battle it out for the championship.

Once you’ve ordered your Luau party supplies make sure you also purchase a long dowel rod - because what kind of luau would it be without playing Limbo?
Limbo is such a fun game, that everyone can enjoy. You can choose to find two stationary objects to hold your dowell rod in place, or have two adults hold each end of the rod - moving it lower for each round. Play some fun music in the background and see how low you can go!

Fresh fruit is a great item to serve at your Luau and fresh pineapple is so good. Have you ever wondered how to cut a pineapple? Here are some tips for you:
Pick a good Pineapple, the leaves need to be green not brown and the pineapple will have a fresh pineapple smell. Next, cut the top and bottom off about 1/2 inches from the top and bottom. Then, turn the pineapple upright. Find the “eye” and cut just below the “eye” and and cut straight down. Cut the rest of the peeling off from top to bottom. To remove the core simply cut the pineapple in 1/2 and cut away the core. It is usaually lighter in color. You may slice or dice the rest and enjoy.

Here is a fun game to play at your Luau. It is called “Pass the Orange”. Divide your guests into two team and line them up in a straight line. The first person put a orange under his/her chin. They must then past the orange without touching it to the next person in the line. If the orange drops, then they have to pick it up and put the orange back under his/her chin and try again. The first team that passes it all the way down the line, wins the Pass the Orange Game.

A perfect way to have your Luau is to be by a swimming pool. If you don’t have one you can rent an indoor pool or use a friends pool. You can play games like water volleyball or basketball. Another fun game to play is to find the fish. Get some plastic fish or an item that will sink to the bottom. Have each person swim to the bottom and get the fish. Have a contest to see how fast each person is retrieving the item.
