My kids love the Land Before Time. The show is so cute and makes the dinosaurs so personable.
For a younger child’s dinosaur birthday party have dinosaur coloring pages, play dough with dinosaur cookie cutters and toy dinosaurs to play with. You can set them up like centers and have each child spend a few minutes on each activity. Then you can break for a snack with sandwiches cut out with the dinosaur cookie cutters.
Spend your birthday with Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Ducky and Petrie.
That just what you will do when you order Land Before Time Party Supplies. You can also play the Cera Tail Chase. You will need to choose a player to be Cera’s head and one to be Cera’s tail. Now everyone that is left over will be her triceratops body. Which ever child has been picked to be the tail will have a scarves attached to their waist leaving the excess as a tail. Everyone will need to line up with the head first and the tail last. All the guests will then hold onto the hips of the guest in front of them. On “Go” the child playing the head will try to catch the child with the tail.
This is sure to bring lots of laughs. Once the head catches the tail have everyone shift back one spot so each guest gets to be all three the head, body and tail.
The Land Before Time is a great party theme for both boy and girl dino lovers.
Why not have a Land Before Time Dino Egg Race? You will want to have made 4 dino feet out of cereal boxes. Have the guests divide into two equal teams. Once they have lined up the first person must put on the dino feet. With a water balloon as the dino egg, each guest must walk down to a small wading pool and place the dino egg in the pool, with out dropping or breaking it. Once they have placed the egg in the pool they run back and give the next person in line the feet. The team to finish first wins.
During your Land Before Time party you can let each child make their own footprint, just like the one Littlefoot found that belonged to his mother. Before the party purchase some Plaster of Paris from your local craft store. Find an appropriate container and follow the directions of the package for mixing. After the mix has set for about 5 minutes it will be the rigth consistency for cutting. Cut the footprint out of the mixture and set it onto wax paper. After the party is over let each guest take home their very own footprint.
Littlefoot was so great in bringing all the dinosaurs together. Littlefoot was a Apatosaurus with a big heart. As the children arrive have markers, crayons and paper ready for them to draw and color Littlefoot and all his dinosaurs friends. After everyone has arrived and finished their drawings, have each child explain their picture and what they think Littlefoot may be doing in their drawing. Encourage the children to be detailed in the drawing such as trees and other dinosaurs.
