   Hugs and Sticthes parties are so cute for little one year old girls! To accent the butterfly theme make a bunch of butterflies with colored tissue paper and close pins and hang them all over the house. The cake should be a big colorful flower with a number 1 candle. Also, put pink, purple and yellow balloons outside the house to let everyone know where the big one year old party is!

   I have seen at several parties in the past where someone brings butterflies to the party. The children loved having the butterflies setting on their fingers. They are so gentle and beautiful and the kids loved them. This would be a great accent to the Hugs & Stitches birthday theme. After the children enjoy the butterlfies, read a book about butterflies.
