How fun would it be to have a horse at your party!
My daughter went to a birthday party where the parents had rented a pony for the afternoon. The owner of the pony took each child on a ride around the neighorhood! the kids loved it. My daughter wore her cowboy hat and boots. After the pony was done riding everyone around the kids got to feed the pony a special treat.
Each child learned something about horses and got to be up close and personal with him. They each were given a Horse Bean Bag as a party favor.

Why not have a good ol’ fashion Cowboy Round Up? The Horse Power Party Supplies would be perfect. What is a Cowboy with out his horse. Put a twist on the decorations and along with the crepe paper use ropes and bandannas too. Have each guest email you picutres of themselves so you can make “Wanted” posters to hang around the room.
A great game to play is Hay Hunt. Buy a bale of hay or two. Spread the hay out on some black garbage bags in the back yard. In the hay hide inexpensive party favors. Have each guest take a turn finding treasures blindfolded with their bandannas. Don’t forget to buy extra hay for a hay ride too.

You can turn your Horse party into a Western Party! Get some squirt guns and empty soda pop cans and set the cans on a chair and see who can use the water gun to knock the cans down. Have a bean bag toss, see who can throw the bean bag into a cowboy boot or make circles on the ground with rope. You also play a fun game of horse shoes! Make sure everyone wears the hat and boots for a great group picture.

What good is a Horse Power birthday party without a fun horse race? Don’t have horses? - No Problem! Each guest can become their own horse. Buy cheap plastic headbands and let each guest create a set or horse ears to attach to their hearband. Have adults help, and use a hot-glue gun to attach ears. You can also buy lots of different colors of yarn. Give each guest enough to make a tale - tie onto a piece of ribbon to be worn around the waist. Once each horse is in position count them off and watch them go!

For your Horse party decorate your party area just like an Western movie. Hang posters that say “Most Wanted! Dead or Alive” and have pictures of you and your spouse. Be sure and hang old wagon wheels around with rope. Go to the craft store and purchase several of the inexpensive Cowboy hats and decorate with them or you can even have all the guests wear them.
Everyone I know has tons of stuffed animals so sit those around your home and even use them for table centerpieces. Finally, you can use potted catcus plants for table centerpieces as well or to decorate your front yard with signs saying “Howdy, pardners, the Party is here!”
