Gymnastics Birthday Party
Gymnastics is one of the most popular kids activities. Kids enjoy it, its great physical activity and holding a Gymnastics Birthday Party can be a blast.
Below you will find some tips and suggestions for planning a great Gymnastics Birthday Party.
Start planning your party well in advance. We suggest six weeks if you want to remain as stress free as possible. Make sure you get Gymnastics Birthday Party Invitations very early. You will want to start sending those out around 3 or 4 weeks before the party. Give your guests plenty of time to get your party on their schedule.
As you start planning your gynmastics party we suggest you look to see if there is a company near you that hosts gymnastics parties. Ideally you are looking for a company that specializes in those types of parties. They should have mats and other safety equipment where the kids can do some basic tumbling and gymnastics.
You might consider making your party not only a gymnastics party by a United States Gymnastics Birthday Party. Get your guests to dress in red, white and blue gym clothes. As they arrive have the national anthem playing. If you have a karaoke machine or loudspeaker its fun to announce the arrival of each gymnast. Once the guests arrive have sheets of paper with their names and a number on them and pin them to their back just like the Olympic gymnasts.
If you are not able to have your party at a gym then there are plenty of other safe gymnastic activities to keep the kids busy with.
Start by having a balance beam contest. The first step is to draw a 3 inch wide chalk line on the ground and have the kids walk the line without stepping off of it. For the kids that have no problem with the chalk line the next step might be walking on two side by side 2 x 4’s.
If there is a grassy area outside or a carpeted area inside you can have a somersault contest to see who can do the most consecutive somersaults. If space is an issue instead of judging distance see who can somersault in the straightest line.
Of course you can line the little gymnasts up and have them do follow the leader stretches and excercises.

My daughter had her 6th birthday party at her gymnastics were we are members. All the little girls wore their leotards and the boys wore shorts and tee shirts. They had so much fun doing all the different gymnastics equipment and learning new flips and turns! They played games with a huge parachute and they loved it! It was a great 6th birthday party!

If you decide to have a gymnastics party at your house get out an air mattress and have the children do somersaults and back rolls. You can decorate the house with GO USA signs and streamers. A fun game would be to have everyone do a somesault and have judges give them scores just like the Olympics! All of course are winners and receive a Gold Medal!

We have been to many gymnastic parties with our children through the years. The Little Gym is the best place to have a party for your preschooler. They keep the children busy with fun new activities and games. There is never a dull moment!

08/08/08, can’t wait. We love the Olympics at our home and the Gymnastics is one of our favorite sports to watch and cheer on our team. These party supplies would be great when the finals come. You can have a USA Gymnastics watch party. Decorate in red, white and blue. Using hoola hoops create the Olympic symbol in your front yard. Have contest with each other about who will take home the Gold. Also, make cards with the numbers 1-10 for each person, so everyone can be a judge. It will be fun to watch with lots of friends and family.
