For your Unicorn party make this fun craft. Glitter play dough! You will need:
3 cups of flour
1 1/2 cups of salt
3 cups of water
2 tablespoons of vegatable oil
1 tablespoon of cream of tarter
and food coloring
Mix all of the ingredients in a saucepan.
Cook over medium low heat, becomes stiff and difficult to stir. Remove from heat. Cool so the dough will be cool to touch.
Place on counter or wax paper knead 3-4 times.
Store in an air tight container.
As the girls get to the party give them some of the play dough and have ready for them different colors of glitter to mix in with their dough. You may need to double the recipe depending on how many girls are invited to the party. This is a fun easy acitivity to keep the girls busy and having fun!

If you’re daughter is interested in having a Fairy-Tale Unicorn party, then chances are that she’s a girly-girl, and would love doing fun crafts with her friends. If so, then you can let the girls make Magazine necklaces - it’s very simple and they’ll love making their own jewlery.
Materials:
Several magazines (with lots of bright colors and pictures)
Scissors
Toothpicks
Glue
String (fishing line will work best)
Optional: Round craft beads, wax paper, glitter
Let the girls look through the magazines and cut out strips that are particularly fun and colorful. The strips should be about an inch wide, and run the length of the magazine. Take a toothpick and begin to roll the strip around the toothpick - as soon as you make a loop add glue - continue to roll. Once you’ve wrapped the entire strip around the toothpick, add more glue to seal the end, and remove the toothpick. You may want to put wax paper on the table and allow the girls to cover the outside of the rolled strip with glue to completely seal the “bead,” then roll it in glitter. When you are finished with the first one, continue to roll the rest of the strips. After they are finished drying, pull the string or fishing line through the holes left by the toothpick. You can alternate magazine beads and round beads for a special touch!

The unicorn is a mythological creature that is featured in picture books and fantasy stories. The unicorn is always very beautiful and mysterious and may not be seen by all the characters in the books. There is an alleged Unicorn skeleton found in Germany in 1663. Although they could never prove if it was real many believe it was just rhino since the it only has one horn.
A fun game to play at your Unicorn party is to leave clues behind that makes the children think a unicorn was there. Clues might include pink horse hair, glitter, hoof prints or even a unicorn horn made with cardboard, glitter and paint. Once the party is over have a goody bag with a note in it from the Unicorn with something like..”sorry you missed me! but I must always be unseen and magical!” The kids will love thinking the Unicorn acutally left them a letter.

Fairy-Tale Unicorn party supplies are sure to make your party magical. Why not make each guest a Unicorn as they arrive. All you need is white plastic headbands and white card stock. Roll the card stock to look like a horn, you may want to paint some silver on them or spray them with glitter. Hot glue them to the head bands and then like magic every guest is a unicorn.

Unicorns are so beautiful and would make a great party theme. Give each girl a piece of paper, markers, crayons, and glitter. Have them each draw a picture of a unicorn. Each girl will have a different idea on what a unicorn really looks like. They can also use the glitter to make their unicorn sparkle and shine.
