One fun activity for a Dinosaurs Birthday Party is to have a scavenger hunt where the kids at the party are sent to find hidden toy dinosaurs.
Treat the activity a lot like people handle East egg hunts. Gather the kids in the house and have 1 or 2 people hide the dinosaurs all over the yard.
You can tell the kids that they are now scientists and their mission is to find the extinct dinosaurs that have been seen lurking in the yard. To make the game as fair as possible give each child a dinosaur holding area. When they find a dinosaur they need to bring it back to their holding area before continuing to look for more dinosaurs.
Fun activities will help make Dinosaur Birthday Parties even more memorable.

Little boys love Dinosaurs and a Dinosaur party will make their day! You can do a fun activity at your party. Get a box of sand and put “fossils” in the sand and give each child a paintbrush and they will have fun sifting through the sand looking for the treasures. The children can show everyone what they find. You might even read a book on dinosaurs fossils. When you have all the party supplies to go with your party, your child will remember it forever!

Every one likes to look and hunt for prizes! Before the party cut out all kinds of dinosaurs and hide them around the house. After everyone has arrived at the party tell the kids to start looking for them. Whoever finds the most dinosaurs gets the the big prize, this could be a book or DVD on Dinosaurs.

To lead your guests to the Dinosaur party, cut out huge dinosaur foot prints and put them on your sidewalk thru your yard and into the door! Another cool way to make Dinosaur prints is to use sidewalk chalk to make the prints. Your children’s friend will love the idea of following the huge prints to the party. They even make Dinosaurs shaped balloons you can put at the door for decorations. At the doorway, create a cave like entrance with brown butcher paper to make it look like they are entering a Dinosaur cave! You might even want to have the movie Jurassic Park playing in the background! The kids will love it and you will have fun decorating!

Most preschool age children are fasinated with Dinosaurs.
It is a very popular subject in my child preschool. Why not have a party with the same theme?
A craft you could do would be to have each child make their footprint on a piece of paper. Provide washable paint and paper for this. Next, get a book or encyclopedia that says the size of an actual dinosaur print. Measure each child’s foot print and write that size on the paper. Next go to your driveway or patio and draw the actual size of the dinosaur print with sidewalk chalk. Then compare that print with the children’s.
It will actually be great to see the reaction of how large a dinosaur print is compared to their own!

One of the most exciting topics in school is Dinosaurs. That excitment can be transfered to your next birthday party by ordering Dinosaurs Party Supplies.
Play Hot Dinosaur Egg. Have all the guest sit in a circle. Hand one guest a real egg. Start some music and have the guest pass the egg around. The one with the egg when the music stops becomes extinct. Keep playing until there is only one guest left.

Make a memory game for your Dinosaur party. To prepare for this, print pictures of these dinosaurs:
Triceratops
Acanthopholis
Tyrannosaurus
Stegosaurus
Iguanodon
Allosaurus
Dilophosaurus
and the list could go on as much as you like.
You can play the game two ways:
First, print 2 pictures of the dinosaurs and mix them all up and lay them flat on the ground. The first person turns over the print and then turns over another one, if it doesn’t match then they turn them back over and the next player takes their turn. If the cards do match then they get to keep those and get another turn.
Second way to play would be is to print the dinosaur and then a fact about it. This would be great for older children, before the game, read all the facts out loud to them. Then play it the same way as the first, but now they will have to match the fact to the correct dinosaur. This will be fun and they may learn something new at the party, and you may too.

This is fun and educational game for you to play at your next Dinosaur Party. Go to the store and some people keep these for Easter and re use them, the plastic eggs. In each egg put a number between 1-10. Hide all the eggs around your home and backyard. Have the children go look for all the eggs. When everyone is done, have the children add up all the numbers from their eggs. Whoever has the highest number wins a bag of goodies. Be sure and give everyone something for all their hardwork in finding the eggs and adding up all the numbers.

During your next Dinosaurs party you can make your very own fossils!
Before the party purchase some Plaster of Paris from your local hardware store. Follow the directions for mixing. When it reaches the right consistency use different items from nature to make fossils. You can let each child go outside prior to the fossil activity and find an interesting leaf, twig, etc. Let them make an imprint of their item into the Plaster of Paris. Help each person cut their item into a fun shape and place it on a piece of wax paper. Label the wax paper with each guest’s name. Remind everyone that their fossil might not be completely dry by the time the party is over - so be careful while you are transporting it home. You can even make your own footprint - just like a dinosaur footprint - just make sure everyone’s feet get cleaned off well before they go walking around the house!

Here is a fun game for your Dinosaur party. Get some eggs and boil them, next color them in all colors like you do at Easter but leave 1 egg white. Now, you are going to have an egg rolling contest. Place the white egg at the end of your egg rolling area. Give each child a colored egg, the object of the game is to see who can roll the colored egg closet to the white egg. The person who gets closest wins and you can continue this game for as long as you like. Be sure and have plenty of prizes for everyone who wins.
