We have an adopted little 4 year old girl and I was surprised at how much she loves Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat. She is about to turn 5 and we were going through the different birthday themes you offer and I was surprised that Curious George was high on her list.
I thought Curious George party supplies would be more for boys than girls. But shows what I know.
Of course her favorites seemed to be Hannah Montana party supplies. So we will just have to choose.

Curious George Birthday Party
For someone who doesn’t say a word Curious George sure has become extraordinarily popular with kids. Lots of parents choose to have Curious George Birthday Parties because their kids love his books and television show.
We want to help you throw a very successful Curious George birthday party. Below you will find some helpful tips and suggestions on how to make sure kids have as much fun as possible at your party.
You should ideally begin to plan your Curious George party about 6 weeks before the birth date. That will help cut down on stress and allow you time for all the necessary planning. Begin by ordering Curious George party invitations. They show George dropping in on a bunch of festive balloons.
Once you know how many people will be attending your party you can purchase any Curious George party supplies you will need. We suggest you consider our deluxe pack. We posted it at the top of this page. It gives you everything you need for 8 people to attend your Curious George party even if you plan a meal and drinks. There are lots of decorative items too.
When you planning on where to hold your party or an activity for the the party you might consider your local zoo. What would be more natural for a Curious George party than to go to the zoo. The kids would love it and it would certainly fit the theme, especially if you could picnic near the monkey exhibit.
Another naturak activity for your Curious George birthday party is a good game of monkey see, monkey do. Appoint one leader who does different things like touching their nose or bending to the ground and all the other monkeys need to follow suit.
Finally its always fun to have lots of colors and theme oriented coloring books on hand for the kids to draw. We have a great Curious George Coloring Book that you can get for the kids to draw and take home as party favors.

Although Curious George has been around for quite some time, he has been made popular all over again with the 2006 movie featuring Will Ferrell as the voice of Ted, the Man in the Yellow Hat, and other big names like Drew Barrymore and Dick Van Dyke.
Having a Curious George birthday party is such a fun idea. You can buy the soundtrack, featuring songs by outstanding musician Jack Johnson as a little backgroud music for your child’s party. Have children come dressed in Curious George costumes or clothes, and give away yellow caps as party favors. You can serve banana splits at the party as a treat for all your guests. And as a special activity you can put butcher paper along the walls to let kids finger paint their favorite jungle scene - just like George does in the movie. But be careful - make sure you thoroughly explain to each child that this is a special activity just for the party - not something they should try at home!

When you have a Curious George birthday party for your little one this activity would be allot of fun. Before the party cut out brown mouth and brown ears for a George puppet. Get a regular brown paper bag and glue them on then get some “eyes” at your local craft store to make him complete. You can add a red tongue as well. The kids will love playing with their George puppets!

Ted is Curious George’s best friend! He is always with his friend Ted. A fun game would be to play “Ted” says instead of “Simon” says. The birthday child can be Ted and see if he can catch his friends not going what he says to do! The children can take turns being “Ted”until all have had a turn.

When you guests arrive for your Curious George birthday party, turn them into Monkeys! Before the party cut out brown ears and glue them to a headband and for the tail just get brown material. When the arrive, have it all ready to be put on! Your child’ friends will love being a monkey for a few hours and they will for sure act like a Monkey at the party.

Curious George is a silly monkey and the children love him.
At your party, have a competition to see who can be the best monkey. Have them jump around and make monkey noises. Make the parents judge the contest and give first, second and third prizes! Make sure everyone gets a prize for showing want they can do.
George is also curious, so you can hide some peanuts or a banana and have the children look for it. Also, award a prize to the winner and everyone else that helps look!

Curious George is a favorite with kids young and old. Make sure you bring this silly monkey to your next birthday party by ordering Curious George Party supplies.
Why not play Feed George. Find a large box. Paint George’s face on it. Cut out a hole for his mouth. Make 4 bananna shaped bean bags. Have the guest stand about 4 feet from the box. Let them take their turn trying to feed George by getting the bean bags in his mouth.

If you’re having a Curious George party then you’ll want to have some great party favors. You can make your own party favor containers prior to the party. Find enough plastic cups for each guest that you invite to the party. With construction paper or craft foam cover each cup to look like a yellow hat, or George himself!
If you have several guests, making yellow hats will be more time efficient. Simply cover the cups with yellow, then trace and cut out a large yellow circle and glue it to the bottom of the cup. Fill the cup with yellow tissue paper and a few special treats.
For a “George” cup, cover the outside with a tan color. Then, using a dark brown color, trace and cut out a circle (trace the bottom of the cup for a pattern), and then cut the circle in half. Glue the two half-circles onto the middle of the cup - leave just a small space in between the two straight sides of the half-circles - this makes the mouth. On the top half-circle draw two black dots for a nose. Add googliy eyes and two more brown half-circles (one on either side of the cup) for ears. Fill the cup with great party treats.
