Care Bears Birthday Party
So you know your kids love the Care Bears and you got the idea that you want to throw them a Care Bears Birthday Party. Now what?
We want to help you plan the best Care Bears birthday party possible. Below you will find some tips and suggestions on activities and more.
As you begin to plan your party make sure you allow 4 or 5 weeks to get everything done. The best first step is to use our Care Bears party invitations to let everyone know about your party. Send out the invitations about 2 to 3 weeks before the actual date of the party to give people time to RSVP. We suggest you always request that people RSVP instead of sending regrets so you know how many people to expect.
As you can see from the pictures at the top of this page we offer very colorful Care Bears party supplies. You can get lots of different decorations from our supply list or you can use your imagination. But the best Care Bear parties are themed with bright colors on the walls, streamers and balloons throughout the room. We even offer a Care Bears centerpiece for the middle of your party table.
One of the main attractions to the Care Bears is the uniqueness of each of the bears. Each one has its own mood or description and is decorated accordingly. Why not consider purchasing inexpensive white tee shirts for the kids to decorate. They can choose their own personal theme and color their tee shirts to wear at the party. The kids will have a great time coloring the shirts and have great soveniers from your Care Bear birthday party.
Another fun activity for kids is to provide face painting. The kids again can choose a color and a theme and have the face painter turn their cheeks into little Care Bear cheeks.
Finally a quick search of the internet and you will find a few sites that provide free Care Bears coloring pages. Kids love to color. There is no more natural activity than coloring pictures at your Care Bears birthday party.

If you order the Care Bears party supplies you’re one step in the right direction - your child’s party will look great, and you’ll have everything you need…but there’s more. You also need ideas!
One thing that any Care Bears fan remembers is the “Care Bear Stare,” a point during the popular cartoon where each bear would direct their unique tummys toward someone in need of help. You can help your guests do the same thing with a little creativity. Encourage each child to think of a special quality about themselves for their “tummy symbol” - each child can draw and cut out that symbol. Then give each one a flashlight - the bigger the better - cover the end with colored tissue paper and tape the symbol to the paper. Turn the lights out and tell the kids to turn on their flashlights all at the same time. The rainbow colored effect will leave them in awe and keep them entertained!

Care bears all symbolize postives in our world. Sunshine, happiness, hearts and so on! Have face paint ready for when the kids come into the party. Ask them which Care bear is their favorite and paint that symbol on their face. Of course, make sure it is kid safe paint and washable.

Play like a musical chairs except use a Stuffed Care Bear. Gather everyone and have them sit in a circle. The birthday child will start holding the bear. Then, start the music, once this happens the children start passing the bear to the person on their right. When you stop the music whoever is holding the Care Bear is out and the person to the right takes the bear and the game starts again. The child that ends up last wins the game.

As a fun activity and a great party favor, have each guest make their own Care Bear t-shirt. Purchase solild colored t-shirts for each guest. Pass them out along with a piece of white craft felt. Have each person cut out an oval from their white felt - it may be best to have a pattern for them to trace. With other colors of felt each guest can make their own symbols and shapes to put in the center of their white oval. When everything is cut out, glue the shapes onto the oval, and the oval onto the center of the t-shirt. Use fabric glue for the best results, and make sure when you are gluing that you place something in the middle of the t-shirt so that the front and back do not get glued together.
