Bowling Birthday Party
Historically, one of the most popular ways to celebrate a child’s birthday was to have Bowling Birthday Party.
Most adults can remember how much fun they had when one of the friends had the idea of having their birthday parties down at the bowling alley. The parents would bring some bowling birthday supplies, pay for 2 or 3 games for each child and rent bowling shoes. Then the kids would bowl away, snack on some birthday cake and come home exhausted.
Well bowling alleys these days are more equipped than ever before to have Bowling Birthday parties. In fact we were recently at a Florida bowling alley that schedules their bowling parties for specific times on the weekends when they can dim the lights, turn the music way up loud and shine some bright strobes and party lights. The kids just have a ball with it and the bowling alley develops some future bowling fans.
Remember to plan ahead for your bowling birthday party. Give people enough notice to get it on their calender. If you really want to make a splash then send out our Bowling Party Invitations. They are one of the most fun way to announce your party.
Before sending out the invitations talk to the management at your local bowling alley and see what kind of deals they have. See if they have specific times for bowling birthday parties where they do things like the Florida bowling alley. You want to make sure that they allow you to bring in your own food and birthday cake too. If you are planning on serving your own food you should consider our Bowling Party Supplies deluxe pack shown at the top of this page. It provides everything you need to serve a meal and decorate the bowling alley.
Bowling birthday parties work just as well for boys and girls.

If your bowling isn’t “kid-friendly” like some, you can set up your own bowling party at home.
Empty out 10 two-liter bottles and place something in the bottom, such as sand or small rocks, to give it weight. Then set up the pins, and make an official lane area. You can purchase a cheap playground ball at your local store - and you’ve got a homemade bowling lane!

Don’t let age be a huge factor in whether or not to have a Bowling Birthday Party. Many bowling alleys have blow up tubes to block off the gutters and make the game easier for younger kids now.

My daughter had her 8th birthday party at a bowling alley. The party was fun and all the kids loved bowling. They had a bowling pin in the middle of the table with balloons tied to it.After the party was done everyone at the party signed the pin and it was a great keepsake from the party.

For a bowling party reserve a few lanes at the local bowling alley. Have the kids bowl for an hour and then most places have rock climbing, laser tag and video games as well. After the bowling alley go home for pizza, soft drinks and cake. If it is an all girls or all boys party, have a slumber party too! Might be fun to wear your PJ’s to the bowling alley! Girls love stuff like that.

Bowling Party Supplies will be perfect for your Bowling Birthday Party!!! Even though just “plain” blowling is fun in itself, have the guest outside of the frame. Do a little brainstorming before the party. Put some really silly ways to bowl on strips of paper. Put these strips in a hat or bowl for the guest to pull out before their turn to bowl. Some ideas could be: Silly walk as you approach the land. Pretending that one of the boards on the floor is a tightrope, bowl backwards, bowl in slow motion, you mind can run wild. This is sure to make the party a hoot.

Obviously you and your family are bowlers if you are looking at our Bowling Party Supplies. Well why not consider ordering Bowling Personal Checks the next time you need to order bank checks. There’s no sense in getting plain checks when you can get checks that reflect your hobby for the same or lower price.

Have a wacky bowling party. Before the party gather empty milk cartons, cans, and empty cereal boxes. Set them all up and have the children “bowl” with a volleyball or basketball. Give each child 3 tries to knock down the items and keep score of how many the knock down. Then the next player goes and stands at the end to set the items back up for the next person. The person with the highest score wins the wacky bowling game.

Before the party go to your local craft store and purchase several paper bowling pins. This will ne a fun activity for the kids to do while everyone is arriving. Have several colors of construction paper, glue, markers and stickers available for the children to decorate their bowling pin. This will be fun to see all the creative ways they decorate plus this will be a great party favor to take home.

If your party time is in the summer, you should try water bowling! Make your own homemade bowling pins out of empty Pringles Potato Chips cans, put something at the bottom to give it a little weight. Instead of bowling balls, use water balloons! Place the pins at the end of a slip and slide and let guests try to slide the water balloons toward the pins to see how many they can knock down. If they keep missing they can run down the slip and slide themselves - they’re sure to knock down a few pins that way!
