Baseball Birthday Party
If your son or daughter has a spring or summer birthday and likes sports then we have some suggestions on throwing a very successful Baseball Birthday Party for them.
Plan your party well in advance so you can give people enough notice and so you have time to purchase Baseball Party supplies. The first thing you’ll need is Baseball Party Invitations
Our baseball invitations are shaped like baseballs. The invitations open up so there is plenty of room for all of your party information.
Our Baseball Party Supplies Deluxe Pack, pictured at the top of this page, is the best way to get all of the supplies you will need for your baseball themed party including decorations and basics like plates, etc.
To make your baseball birthday party a hit here are some activity suggestions you might consider:
Baseball Cards: Some time during the party have each child attending the party pose for a photo. Put a baseball border around the photo and add the child’s name and favorite team underneath their photo. You can hand these out as personal baseball cards.
Play Baseball: Depending on where you have your party you should try to play a game of baseball. For younger kids you might switch to tee ball. But set up the bases and pitcher’s mound and let the kids have fun. They will love the activity and you will feel better that you provided some physical activity and did not have the kids just sit around.
Attend a Ball Game: If you live close to a Major League Baseball team or one of their farm league teams you might want to contact the baseball club and see what kind of deals they have on tickets for a birthday party group. Many of baseball teams love to develop relationships with younger kids who they want to grow into ticket buying fans. The kids will love the big field and quality baseball.
When you plan the menu for your baseball birthday party take into consideration the foods fans would typically purchase at the ball park. There is nothing more baseball than a hot dog. If you really want to have fun have one of the adult helpers dress up like a major league field hot dog vendor and serve everyone their hot dogs wrapped in paper from a carry tray around their necks.
For snacks there is nothing more baseball than peanuts and cracker jacks.

Tee Ball for Younger Kids
If you are having a Baseball Birthday Party for kids 5 or younger than you might actually let the kids play Tee Ball at your Baseball Party.
Most toy stores and all sporting goods stores sell inexpensive tee ball sets. Make sure the tee comes with with large nerf like baseballs. With that age group you want to be as careful as possible to avoid any chances of injury.
If the kids at the party have never played tee ball before assign parents to specific places on the field to supervise the fielders.
You can play regular baseball rules where a team is at bat until it gets 3 outs but we strongly suggest you also have a 5-run rule where any team is limited to 5 runs before the other team comes back to bat.
Baseball Birthday Parties are great ways to teach young children about baseball and tee ball. The kids will also enjoy the physical activity.

A great baseball party would be to have a father and son baseball game. You could go to the store and get the plastic basball bats ad balls. You could have a block party with all your neighbors and have a ball game! Pull your grill out and cook hotdogs for all the people there to watch the game. This doesn’t even have to be a birthday party just something you can do in the Spring when the weather starts getting nice.

A cool game to play at your Baseball party would be to have a bat, nerf ball and a hula hoop. Have someone be the pitcher and throw the ball and someone to hold the hula hoop. Let every child have a turn hitting the ball threw the hoop, holding the hoop or tossing the ball. The kids will love to see who makes it in the hoop or who doesn’t!

A cute idea for a Baseball party invitation is to print on your computer a baseball or even a baseball diamond. All the "stats" would be all the party details, such as the child’s name, age, date of party, time of party and telephone number. Remember to send your invites at least 2 weeks before the party so everyone can make plans to come!

If your little slugger wants to have a baseball themed party get in touch with your local city parks and recreation center (call City Hall). Depending on what day the party is, many cities will rent out a baseball diamond at a reasonable cost.
Send out baseball party invitations two or three weeks before the party. Invite both child and parent to attend - while the kids play a fun game of baseball, the parents can sit in the stands and cheer on their favorite rookies! . Have guests meet at the field the day of the party. Make sure to bring lots of water and snacks.
If your child’s birthday is in the summer try water baseball. Use a fabric ball from a toy store - usually brightly colored and holds water like a sponge. Use slip and slides by the bases and let the kids slide into home every time!

HOME RUN!! WOOOO
You can make baseballs. You will need 2 pieces of paper per child, masking tape, and markers. First you crumble your 2 pieces of paper into a ball. Next you wrap tape all around it. Lastly you can draw the baseball stitches with the markers. Now you can play baseball all day long.

If you have a huge baseball fan, then ordering Baseball party supplies is a must.
There are so many fun things you can do at your Baseball Party. Why not have a baseball card signing party. As the guest arrive take a picture of them. As they are busy with other party games. Print their pictures off and make personal baseball cards out of the pictures. Make sure to print enough cards so that each guest get a card of each guest. Have each guest sign the cards. These will be fun to look back at in years to come.

Opening day for the baseball season is a great time to have a party. On your invitations tell everyone to wear their favorite baseball jersey and cap. You can do some research before you party and have information on the players, such as batting average, how long they have played, if they are a pitcher you can get strike out average. You can make it into a trivia game or just read them for fun. Serve the traditional baseball food, like hot dogs, nachos and peanuts in the shell.

Pass the baseball cap will get the guest going with excitement. Divide the guests into 2 teams and put them in a straight line. Make sure the teams have even numbers if not the someone will have to twice to make it fair. Next, the first player has the hat on and must pass it to the next player without using their hands. If the cap is dropped on the floor than the player picks it back up and starts over. The first team to complete the game wins and gets to eat first at the party.

This game is fun to watch all your friends look really silly. Place a ping pong ball on a tee ball stand. Have one person to volunteer to go first. Blind fold him/her and turn them around several times. They will have to try and blow the ping pong ball off the tee ball stand, they can only use their mouths to blow air. This will be crazy, especially after your spin then around and they are blowing air around and the ball is not even close. Once they succeed in blowing the ball off the tee, than the next person gives it a try.
