BARNEY DANCE PARTY
If you want to have a party for kids that they will remember for a long time then combine a dance competition with our Barney Dance party supplies. Just think about it. Kids love to be active. Why not channel that energy through a dance contest.
Of course Barney is aimed at younger audiences so the dance steps need to be simple.
At your Barney Dance party have the kids line up and follow the leader in some basic dance steps. Once they have been taught the basics let each one perform for the group. Make sure each performance is followed by a great round of applause.
Use your imagination and your Barney Dance party will be a huge hit with both the kids and their parent.s

“I love you, you love me!” I love the Barney Dance Party Supplies! For a busy Mom this gives me everything I need for my party. I plan on using the balloons for a balloon poping race. My other ideas was to get a Barney CD and play musical chairs.

Barney the big Purple dinosaur was created in 1988 in Dallas, TX by a lady named Sheryl Leach. He was created for educational purposes. In 1992, the character was picked up by PBS. Once that happened, well Barney became a household name of preschoolers. The show is filmed in Dallas, TX.

I found a great goodie bag idea for a Barney party instead of the traditional paper or plastic bag. Get large plastic eggs (dinosaur eggs) and let each child decorate them with stickers. Once they are done creating fill the eggs with gummy bears, gummy worms, jelly beans and hershey kisses. You might want to even tell the kids that Dinosaurs come from eggs.
Use this time to teach them as well to have a great time. Be sure and play the Barney CD’s in the background so they can dance and play too!

I have a game that would put some of your Barney Dance Party Supplies to work for you. The game is called Baby Bop Hop. Blow up all the balloons from your party supplies. When it’s time to play the game tie a long string of curling ribbon to each of the balloons. Each guest must tie a balloon to their leg. Here is the fun part. Each guest must keep their ballon from being popped, while they are trying to pop the other guests balloons. Once their balloon is popped they are out.

Barney loves imagination and he encourages children to use theirs allot. Give each child a blue piece of construction paper, cotton balls and colored yarn. Tell them to use their imagination and makes clouds and birds out of the cotton balls and yarn. Be sure and provide glue too. Have them tell everyone about their artwork when everyone is done.
