Animal Planet party supplies are wonderful for any kid who loves animals! And what better place to have the party than surrounded by animals?
About a month before the day of the party call up a petting zoo in the area. Many facitilites will have a special area for parties and events. When you invite the guests check and see if any of the other parents would be interested in helping out on the day of the party - you’ll want to have at least 1 adult for every 2 or 3 children! Make sure everyone washes their hands thoroughly both before and after coming in contact with the animals, or eating!

Make a jungle out of your home for a fun Animal Planet party! The kids are sure to go wild when they come into a real liefe jungle! What you can do is hang green streamers all over the ceiling or even go to the craft store and buy the plastic vines. Have stuffed jungle animals all over the chairs and floor. Great party favors would be plastic snakes or other small plastic items. Just be sure all guests can take those home since you don’t want a choking hazard.

For your Animal Planet birthday go to a local Nature Center for the afternoon. The center can give you lots of information on the wildlife in your area and how to protect them. This would be educational plus a fun way to celebrate a birthday or other occasion. Be sure and invite your friends, classmates and family!

As each child comes to the party take a picture of them with a digital camera. Once everyone has their picture taken print them off on the computer. Next, take black or gray construction paper and cut out very thin lines. Glue about 5 or 6 lines onto the paper to make it look like a cage. Then, mount the picture on some cardstock, any color would be great and write ” (child’s name is a monkey in a cage” or something similar to that. This is a fun craft that will make the party specia for everyone.

In 1996 the Discovery productions released the Animal Planet channel. It was created to promote the differences between animals and humans.
For your Animal lover in your home, this party would be great. Be sure and have it on the TV the whole time the party is going. I have a friend that has a daughter that watches the Channel all day long. So if it is on during the party the kids will learn something as well and be entertained by all the fascinating animals they feature.
Be sure and have lots of stuffed animals around the for decorations.

For your Animal Planet birthday party, make the invitations fun. Use some kind of animal print paper. Take a picture of your child and have a bubble coming out of his/her mouth that says:
” I am WILD about you and would love for you to come to my party”. Use colors like these party supplies, green, yellow and aqua blue.

Before your animal party, go to the craft or party store and buy inexpensive safari hats for all the kids to wear. Next, make binocualars out of toilet paper rolls, tape and string. Tape together two toilet paper rolls and at the end of each roll, put a small hole in there to run the string thru so it will hang around the childs neck. The kids can decorate them with stickers and markers. Next. after everyone has made them, go on a Safaru hunt with the binoculars. You can look for bugs, frogs and birds. The kids will love pretending.

When you have younger children at your Animal Planet party, you can let each of them turn into their favorite animals by making masks. Give each child a paper plate. Let them decorate the plate to look like the face of their animal. Set out markers, paint, crayons, etc. Once they’re finished attach a piece of string or ribbon to the plate so they can wear it like a mask.
Take lots of pictures of your little jungle animals. Let each person demonstrate the noise their animal makes, and let them tell you why it’s their favorite.
