If you are planning an American Idol Party you should start your planning about 4 weeks before the actual event. The most obvious activity for an American Idol Birthday Party is to have a talent show.
Of course you need to plan a little in advance and it helps if you have karaoke equipment. Just like on the show choose a particular theme or song list and have the kids attending the party choose from those. That way you will not have to work too hard to get the music together. If someone attending can play guitar or piano then you might not even have to have the music on hand.
Give each guest 3 or 4 minutes to perform. You might even have 3 guest judges (can be parents) who give feedback on the performance. One fun thing the judges can do for younger kids is after they give their feedback have one stand up and yell “You’re Going to Hollywood”! The kids love that part.

Last night was the results how for American Idol and the party was over for Carly. Lots of people were very surprised by her departure.

American Idol watch party for the finale show! You never know who is going to be the last one standing with so many twists and turns throughout the sesaon. It would be fun to have your own Idol vote and see who predicated the winner. You can serve finger foods and soft drinks to keep the party going. It is fun to watch see all the hype around the winner after the show and even better when it is the one you picked to win.
