What little girl doesn’t want to grow up and be a diva! (And they do start early)! You should pick out a song that is famous by a Diva and play her music in the background while your daughter opens her gifts and eats her first piece of birthday cake. You may even see a few of the girls start dancing!

Babies can be a little overwhelmed at their first party because they really don’t have a know what is going on. They just understand that a lot of people are at their house and it was not in the daily schedule. Here are some basic information that may help keep your little one calm and enjoy his/her first party.
Keep the invite guest to a minumum. Invite family and a few special friends.
If you are going to have small children there, make sure the menu and activities are age appropriate.
Same goes the other way, if you have more adults coming, make the menu for adults.
Keep it short, only have the party for 1 1/2 hours.
Remember your child, this is his/her party, so be sure and not get a clown or other character that your child may be scared of. You don’t want your child scared and upset.
Have a great time celebrating the first year for your child.

Since you’ve invited mostly close friends and family to your lil Diva’s 1st Birthday Diva party you know everyone would love to have a picture of your lil Diva.
We all know that not everyone shows up at the same time or on time for that matter. So have a crafty project ready for each guest as they arrive. Make 4 x 6 frames out of different colored cardboard before the party. When the guests arrive hand each one a frame. Let them decorate the frame with paint, stickers, glitter or what ever else you may have in your craft supplies. Have the guests put on Diva stuff like a pink boa and sunglasses. Make sure the Diva of honor is Divaed up too. Take a digital photo of the guest with the birthday girl. Place the photo in the homemade frames. What a great momento and party favor.

Great food items to serve at your Diva’s birthday party is finger foods. You can serve vegetable pieces, Gold Fish crackers, graham crackers, deli meat, fruit and a yogurt dip. Instead of a cake that you have to cut for everyone, just serve strawberry cupcakes with strawberry cream cheese icing and for drinks make pink lemonade.
